SUCCESS

Success, to one person, may be failure in the estimation of other person. For success holds different meaning to different individuals.

To some, wealth is “success” and its glitter blinds us to the fact that the glory may have been obtained through dishonest and unscrupulous means. Because of this many of us have formed the wrong concept of what success really is and we hail people as successful who in reality are failures when it comes down to their moral and civil responsibilities.

Still, others hail as a success one who never fails. But there is no human being who never fails and failures often lead us to the greater glory for it teachers us he less arrogant and to be more cautious. In school we are taught not only how to succeed but also how to take failure and disappointment within our studies. Confucius said, “Man’s greatest glory is not in ever failing, but in rising each time he falls”.

            Learning to determine things by their true value is one of the greatest gifts a person can possess. Knowing what things really matter and which are only greedy, vain matters which add nothing to one’s spiritual growth… and are not worth striving for. Success does not necessarily mean something great and glittering which can be paraded before everyone for exhibition. It may be a feeling deep in your heart where surely no one can see it, and surely no one but you can feel it, but it gives you peace within and without… because of something accomplished there honest toil and in all sincerity.

Mas lalo na sa prof mong mukhang
Salbahe!…dance!
